Although there’s still a slew of incredible Jordan Brand releases scheduled to arrive before the year’s out, with the weather turning darker and greyer by the minute we thought now would be a great time to turn our attention to spring to see what the Jumpman team have got in store for us in early 2021.

As ever, Nike’s basketball arm has some amazing releases lined up for spring including some brand-spanking new colourways, a highly-anticipated retro comeback and a few exciting new collabs that are all guaranteed to send sneakerheads into a fanatical frenzy.

We’ve already previewed the upcoming Jordan 1 Retro High OG “University Blue” and “University Gold”, but to keep you in the loop here are 3 other spring 2021 releases you should be desperate to add to your prized trainer collection.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Silver Toe”

While admittedly the women’s Air Jordan collections don’t always receive as much attention as the men’s, if next year’s All-Star Weekend line-up is anything to go by then 2021 may be a different story as the schedule features a variety of female-friendly releases.

Chief among them is the women’s Air Jordan 1 High OG “Silver Toe”, a spaced-out variation of the “Gold Toe” colourway this silhouette was dressed in a couple of years ago. Featuring black, white and silver uppers – the latter of which is a crinkled metallic leather in a nod to space travel and future flight innovation – this is a showstopping colourway that is sure to be as popular as its golden counterpart, which went down as an instant classic when it landed in 2018.

Air Jordan 5 “Stealth”

Those who are old enough may remember the “Stealth” iteration of the Air Jordan 5 silhouette from way back in 2006, and if you’ve been dying to cop a pair ever since, then today – or March 27 to be precise – may just be your lucky day!

Noted for its adherence to tradition when it first hit the shelves, the original made use of a classic combination of leather uppers, soft sockliners and a translucent sole, as well as the silhouette’s trademark large reflective tongue.

The “Stealth” will drop in full family sizing meaning the whole tribe can get their retro on with this one. The late March release date has been tentatively put forward, although if 2020’s taught us anything it’s that a lot could change from now until then!

Air Jordan 9 “University Gold”

While it’s safe to say the AJ9 has never been the most popular of the Air Jordans, it’ll always hold a special place in our hearts as MJ’s first ever retirement shoe, which is why it’s always nice to see Jordan Brand paying attention to the silhouette with some fresh new colourways to whet our appetites.

The next instalment of the iconic silhouette is the Air Jordan 9 “University Gold” which looks to keep things simple, sticking to a near all-black colour palette, save for some yellow accents on the heel tab, sockliner and signature branding. The style is reminiscent of the Jordan 12 iteration which came in the same colour scheme earlier this year, and with that one proving particularly popular expect this one to fly off the shelves at similar speed when it arrives in spring.

No official release date has been announced quite yet, but stay tuned for more information when it becomes available.

So, next spring promises to be an exciting time for lovers of the Air Jordan silhouettes. If you’re looking to pick up some rare and exclusive Air Jordans, head over to our resale market where we have a wide selection of colourways across every collection available.
