What do we know about the new Adidas Ultra Boost 2020?

The hype surrounding the Adidas Ultra Boost is nowhere near what it once was. That isn’t of course to say the silhouette is dead and buried. In fact, Adidas are determined to remind everyone of its status in the broader trainer landscape with a fresh take on the model. Images have been released of what is reported to be an upcoming Adidas Ultra Boost 2020. We aren’t long past the launch of the Ultra Boost ’19 which dropped earlier in the year to a relatively muted fanfare. Yet Adidas feel the need to come at us with yet another relatively similar product. Although no official release date has been touted for the design, we expect the model to be hitting shelves very soon.

What does the Adidas Ultra Boost 2020 look like?

The new model incorporates the same sleek design motif of the ’19 model. With only a few new details added such as a new weave pattern on the Primeknit upper and taped Three Stripes cage. Additionally an iridescent “Metallic Purple” Boost midsole finished off the updated model. The pair also features a co-branded tongue tab different to anything we have seen previously. Which is labelled ISS National Lab – a government-funded laboratory that aids in space research to improve life on Earth. The significance of this is still unclear. At a guess you can definitely gleam that it is related to the futuristic aesthetic of the new design. As well as Adidas’ attempts at providing a much more sustainable and eco-friendly model across the entirety of their product line.
