There’s a lot of love for the Air Max right now. Nike are dropping new designs all the time and also reminiscing on old times by bringing back some classic colourways on different silhouettes.

Since the original Air Max 95 dropped back in… well, ’95, we’ve seen plenty of inspired colourways. One of the all time greats was the Cool Grey/ Anthracite/ Wolf Grey/ Volt design. The look was so popular in fact that it’s shown its face around town plenty of times since the 90s.

And it’s back again – this time gracing the outer of the Air Jordan IV. The finished article is pure retro throwback; something sneaker fans still can’t get enough of. And we expect plenty of AJ and Air Max fans to be waiting patiently for drop date.

The look itself is heavy on the greys. But don’t think Nike have ended up with a boring look. Nike have stacked Wolf Grey upon Cool Grey and interspersed it with “VOLT” plastic lace guards and half tongue branding of the Jumpman for an alter ego look that lets you know this is half Air Jordan IV and Half Air Max 95.

The profile mesh guard sits over the top of a black lining and an all black soleplate helps the colour drip start grey before fading to black. The iconic Nike Air Max bubble makes an appearance in the heel in a luminescent Volt colour to remind us of the feature both the Air Max and AJ4 share.

The new Nike Air Jordan IV 95 Neon is expected to drop March 21 in adults and kids sizes so you can kit out the entire family in the new look.

You can get a hold of a pair at Nike.com or on the SNKRS app and pairs are currently listed in adult sizes for $225 (£169.95) and in kids sizes for around $80 (£69).
