What do we know about the new Atmos x Nike collaboration?

The original 2006 Animal Pack is considered one of the most coveted Air Max collaborations of all time. So much so, that the Atmos x Nike partnership was revived in 2018. The Animal Pack 2.0 expanded the range with a tweaked version of the original Air Max 1. Alongside a Air Max 95 colourway that followed a similar theme stylistically. Just like the 2006 Animal Pack, the follow up capsule flew off shelves in a similar fashion.

Well nearly a year on from this success and Atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima is at it again. Showing off his latest capsule. The Atmos x Nike “Animal Pack 3.0” which looks set to drop in three distinctive colourways for the Air Max 1. The capsule, which also includes apparel will drop at their Sendagaya flagship on July 12 as a part of its “atmos JAM” series, then a day later on July 13 online with an expected retail price of £185.

What is included in the “Animal Pack 3.0”?

The Animal Pack 3.0 presents three colourways that showcase the famous Atmos x Nike animal print. This time opting for uppers that utilise a Tiger, Leopard, and newly incorporated Giraffe print. To accompany this trio of fresh colourways for the Air Max 1 there will be t-shirts, shorts, tote bags, and two differently-sized water bottles. All of which feature the same animal prints as the sneakers themselves and has been designed with the help of Dave White, a British artist known for his animal motif work.

The uppers of the shoes – just like the two previous capsules – are achieved using pony hair. While designer Hirofumi Kojima tried to remain true to the original Air Max 1 silhouette in every other aspect of his shoes. With the three pairs being hit with vibrant branding in the way of a bright swoosh on each of the shoes medial sides. Blue for Tiger, Orange for the Leopard and Green for the Giraffe model.
