Rare trainer instillation for New York Fashion Week
Two heavy hitters have decided to join forces for New York Fashion Week. Retailer Bergdorf Goodman and digital footwear shopping destination GOAT are going to be showcasing a selection of rare trainers at the Bergdorf’s men’s store. The exhibit is said to highlight some of the world’s most expensive trainers; touted to open Wednesday August 21st. As this instillation is being hosted by a duo of retailers, naturally there will be an opportunity to purchase some of the items featured. The exhibition will be doubling as a store. Which is said to allow the Bergdorf Goodman clientele an elevated shopping experience where they can become accustomed to some of the rarest and most coveted trainers money can buy.
In the lead up to the premiere of this exhibition it has already been announced that the Chanel x Pharrell Adidas NMD Human Race TR valued at $16,400 and the ‘Back to the Future’ Nike Air MAG valued at $47,250 will feature.

Both Bergdorf Goodman and GOAT share similar opinions as to the importance of trainers in the wider luxury fashion landscape.
