Yeezy trainers are an industry favourite, growing from complete obscurity to challenging the industry giants like Nike in just a few short years. But they did have some help, coming from the mind of world-famous rapper and fashion designer Kanye West. West, who has recently officially changed his legal name to simply “Ye”, has released a bunch of different silhouettes with a huge range of colourways for each! This November is seeing three choice releases for lovers of neutral hues and earthy tones, let’s take a look:
Yeezy 450 “Dark Slate”
The Yeezy 450 Dark Slate was first released earlier this year to an absolute frenzy, and quickly ran out of stock! Now this iconic sneaker is getting its first ever restock! The all-black sneakers were a hit when they were released – oddly – in the middle of summer, and we expect the winter restock to match or exceed this success! The Yeezy 450 Dark Slate comes with a fully black sole with the iconic Yeezy waves design, and a dark brown upper with the classic sock-like collar and soft fabric body.
Yeezy 500 “Ash Grey”
The Yeezy 500 flourished under the chunky dad sneaker trend and continue to keep delivering with new colourways being released all the time! Unlike the single-piece effect of the 450, the 500 is made up of many layered parts, providing contrast between hues and materials, even on this mostly monochromatic colourway! The darkest grey sits underfoot with lighter layers as you approach the collar.
Yeezy 350 V2 “Blue Tint”
The Yeezy 350 Blue Tint is aptly named, but you probably wouldn’t notice without it being pointed out! First stocked back in 2017, this sneaker is so popular that restocks are still required years later! The iconic sneaker takes a black and white zebra patterning and adds a blue tinge so subtle you could be forgiven for missing it entirely! It is most evident around the collar and at the seam between the sole and upper. This subtle design is brightened by a vibrant red text across the classic mid-strip with “SPLY-350” spelled out backwards as has been on previous designs.
