With summer now just a few short months away, expect to see the level of pollen rise – in more ways than one!

That’s because as well as the arrival of the powdery airborne substance that blights the life of hay fever sufferers every year, there’s a new Air Jordan 1 High OG named the “Pollen” also on the way.

Back in 2019, images surfaced online of a yellow iteration of the ionic Air Jordan 1 silhouette, but despite the buzz it caused the shoe that became known as “Yellow Toe” never made it to the market, resulting in disappointment for the many sneakerheads who were keen on copping a pair.

Thankfully, the style is finally set to make its long-awaited arrival, and if the official imagery recently released is anything to go by then this is one update that was definitely worth the wait.

With a distinctive yellow and black finish across the shoe’s leather construction this forthcoming AJ1 iteration demands to be seen. Down below the shoe benefits from the classic white midsole, with yellow treading that helps the wearer with those slick manoeuvres on the court.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 High Retro OG “Pollen” is due to arrive on August 21st 2021. Although the release date has been confirmed, as we’ve seen over the past 12 months anything can happen, so don’t be surprised if something changes between now and then.

When it finally hits the shelves, this is set to be another popular release from Jordan Brand, meaning if you want to pick up a pair, chances are you’ll have to scour the secondary market post-retail.
