This is mainly due to the toebox on the 500 being a lot firmer. Meaning it doesn’t give to your toe quite as much. The toe box on the 500 is notably wider. however, but it still comes up shorter than most other Adidas shoes.

The Yeezy Boost 350 & Yeezy 500 are relatively simple to define in size terms. As across the board they follow the same general rules, but when we get to the Yeezy 700 which is Kanye Wests newest and arguably best silhouette things aren’t as uniform. The general consensus is that the shoe is incredibly comfortable so honestly, you can go true to size if you wanted to, and you would experience little to no issues as long as you aren’t too worried about a snug but not overly tight fit. However, if you prefer a slightly less restricting fit then just like the two previous silhouettes we spoke about, I’d suggest going half a size up, but wait! That doesn’t tell the whole story…
The Yeezy 700 has seen three sets of design changes meaning that they fit slightly differently. The OG Yeezy 700, the Wave Runner, fits snug because of the narrow toe box, while the second iteration of the 700 which features the Mauve, Inertia and Analog colourways comes with added padding and elastic that holds the tongue in place making the shoe naturally tighter and therefore, for both of these versions I would recommend the half size up.
How do Yeezy 700v2 fit?
Whereas with the Yeezy 700 v2 – which is the third and newest iteration of the silhouette – the end result is notably more comfortable, with most of the added padding from the second version being removed and the upper’s construction being changed to Primeknit, this all allows for extra room at the toe box. That space is invaluable in creating a truer to size fit, and the v2 also features an Ortholite insole and a cloth underlining so now you are directly walking on the boost meaning that I would personally recommend wearing your standard size in the v2 models.
