After releasing the full All-Stars Weekend schedule for spring 2021, Jordan Brand have gone one better by giving us a sneak peak of what’s to come next autumn, revealing a brand-new addition to the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG collection named the “Bordeaux”.

The Retro High OGs have received some serious attention of late, with the Jumpman team set to drop a swathe of releases between now and spring, and it looks as if they aren’t done there with a purple and white mock-up of the iconic silhouette pencilled in for around this time next year.

Made from a soft but durable leather, the silhouette benefits from being both hard-wearing and comfortable, making them a great choice regardless of whether you’re on or off the basketball court. The uppers are constructed almost entirely from leather, with purple overlays complimenting the white base superbly, while a silver Swoosh along the medial and lateral puts the finishing touches on a truly divine colourway that has future classic written all over it.

Elsewhere on the shoe you’ll come across the typical retro branding you’ve come to expect from these old school AJ1s, while down below Jordan Brand have stuck with the same colour scheme by using a white midsole mated to purple treading to keep things simple yet supremely effective.

If you take a quick glance at the resale market at some of the other Air Jordan 1 High Retro OGs then you’ll notice they tend to prove pretty popular, with resellers asking for a small fortune in exchange for a pair. That means if you want to cop a some of these without having to pay multiple times the retail cost, you’d better be ready to pounce when they go on sale as chances are they won’t be around for very long!

At the minute, not much else is known about a release date other than they’ll land sometime next autumn, but as ever we’ll keep you in the know as soon as any other details are revealed.

Are you passionate about Air Jordans and looking to cop some of the most sought-after styles? If so, then check out our resale market as we have listings for hundreds of rare colourways at some of the most competitive prices around.
