Adidas are finishing out the year with a unique four-part project, working with designers from around the world to collaborate on their running collection with the ‘Run City Pack’.

The pack kicked off with Danish designers Wood Wood’s women’s running pack, followed by a British touch from Universal Works and a slick black-and-white city colourway from Tokyo based NEIGHBORHOOD for the third instalment.

Stepping up to the plate for the final collaboration is global design influencers Monacle. For their own collection they have designed two new takes on the adidas Pulseboost HD rendered in two unique colourways.

Monacle, another German athletics brand, are the most well-established brand to work with adidas on the Run City Pack. They pose a slightly different approach to fashion compared to the rest of the pack collaborators as well, producing a magazine, radio and travel guide that coincides with their apparel and footwear, all available at reduced prices through their subscription service.

They have put together two new colourways for the Pulseboost HD, an Olive Green and a Rich Blue. These are the first pieces of footwear in the pack to utilise the innovative Boost HD technology, released earlier this year. The new sole looks set to trump the last gen boost tech by providing best-in-class comfort and responsiveness. It makes sense that this release would showcase some of the finest tech as production of the silos takes place at adidas’ Scheinfeld factory in Germany, where elevated engineering is a precedent.

The new sleek silhouettes are rendered onto lightweight mesh in a deep navy colourway, offset with white soleplate and yellow/gold features that also appear on the laces. The Olive Green colourway also features the same white and yellow features.
