DJ Khaled has done plenty to establish himself as an Air Jordan ambassador and hype man. The DJ/Artist, known for legendary lyrics such as ‘DJ Khaled’, and ‘DJ KHALED!’ is often snapped with Jordan’s on his feet. He has also been the one to announce the new Nike Air Jordan 4 “Metallic Pack” via his Instagram.

The new Metallic pack looks set to be a minimalist, white-based, metallic featured look that keeps things nice and simple. The colourways will be “purple metallic”, “red metallic” and “orange metallic”.

DJ Khaled announced the release via Instagram, calling “Still in the meeting” throughout, where he also showed off a collection of several other Jordan’s as well as some customisable lace options. It seems coronavirus may be slowing down distribution but behind the scenes at Nike and Air Jordan, things are still moving ahead.

All the new looks in the metallic pack are constructed of premium quality-grained leather, mesh panels and Jumpman branding across tongue and heel. The entire midsole has also been whited out for one of the cleanest looks so far this year from AJ. The upper and lower lace eye stay hardware is hit up with the colours, as is the Jumpman branding and lining around the tongue.

Each of the new releases will also come with their own speciality boxing that match up with the individual colourways.

Distribution is obviously at a minimum around the world with the current situation but the release of the new Nike Air Jordan 4 “Metallic” pack looks set to go ahead for a summer release once everything is hopefully back up and running smoothly.

The new look is set to drop at $190 (£153) online at the Nike store and via the Nike SNKRS app. Keep it laced for more information on a confirmed release date and make sure you hit up our online trainers platform for buy and sell options after release.
