The Samba colour scheme of yellow and green – made famous by the Brazilian national football team that inspired the world with their rhythmic and tantalising style of football – has found its way into every corner of the style world. The colour scheme is so popular, it has even found its way into the world of skateboarding with the Nike Dunk Low SP “Brazil”. Where these under a pair of blue shorts and a replica Socrates OG football jersey and you’ll have the strongest look this summer.

Tis new colourway comes as the first part of a three-release pack titled the “Team Jones” pack. That means two more Dunk Low SP looks will be dropping in due time, but everything is being kicked off with this South America styled iteration.

Nike’s Dunks love colour. So far in 2020 we’ve had pink colourways, purple colourways, even a Ben and Jerry’s “Chunky Monkey” colour styling. The latest “Brazil” look comes in a “Varsity Maize” and “Pine Green” colourway.

The streamlined mesh tongue returns: a staple of the Dunk look since back in the 80s. This time decked out in “Varsity maize” colouring with a white tag Nike branding. To make the colouring really standout Nike has also included white lacing as well as a white midsole. To finish the look, a green outsole encompasses the shoe in the vibrant green to ensure the “Samba” aesthetic reigns supreme.

The next two looks in the “Team Jones” pack will be a “University Orange/Marine” look and a “White/University Red” look, both of which will be landing later in the year.

The Nike Dunk Low SP “Brazil” looks set to drop May 21 at selected Nike retailers as well as online at Nike.com or using their SNKRS app. Prices start at around $100 (£82.47). Head over to Laced’s online trainers platform after release day for buy and sell options on the resale market.
