Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day now just a couple of weeks away, and to celebrate the annual day of romance Nike is releasing another Air Force 1 just in time for Cupid’s arrival.

The iconic AF1 silhouette usually receives a new look at this time of the year, but in 2021 Nike are taking things a step further with not one but two brand-new lovey-dovey iterations set to land for the February 14th celebration.

Along with this one, there’s also a white iteration complete with an eye-catching love heart on the way, but whereas its cleaner counterpart is a rather low key affair, Nike have gone all out with this one, opting for a baby pink and white colourway dressed in a luscious combination of suede and leather.

As the name suggests, it also comes with a love letter which arrives as part of the shoe’s tongue tag. The small fabric letter is stitched onto the upper part of the tag, opening up to reveal the words “True Love Since ‘82”, denoting the year the time-tested silhouette first arrived on the scene.

Elsewhere, the toe box is punctuated with holes to allow the feet to breath, which also happens to look pretty neat as well. This is a common feature seen on practically every AF1, only this time the holes come shaped like little hearts, which is another cute touch and one the romantics among you sneakerheads are bound to adore.

As of yet, no release date is set in stone, but it’s safe to assume the Nike Air Force 1 “Love Letter” will arrive before Valentine’s Day. If you’re love-struck by these beauties, with that date just a couple weeks away you shouldn’t have to wait long for your chance to cop a pair.
