Celebrating one year of SNKRS in 2018
A year ago on August 8th 2018, the Nike SNKRS app turned one. To celebrate Nike restocked some of the hottest releases of 2018. While also sending out free pairs of shoes to its most loyal users. Some big ticket items such as the Parra x Nike Air Max 1, Various Off-White x Nike drops, both of Skepta’s Air Max offerings, The Nike React Element 87 and much more were included.
Nike SNKRS Day ’19
Following on from last year’s festivities, Nike will be celebrating the SNKRS app’s second birthday. Similarly to last year, Nike look to once again bring back some of the most coveted of trainer releases from 2019 in an exclusive restock. So far in 2019 Nike has had a slew of high interest releases. Everything from Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1s to its extensive Sacai collaboration and limited edition version of A-COLD-WALL* x Vomero Zoom 5+ could potentially feature. Although no one knows exactly what is planned for August 8th, Nike has promised “some surprises” and has urged fans of the Swoosh not to miss out. If you European, make sure you have downloaded the Nike SNKRS app and stay tuned for what is in store via the app.
Whether anything new is going to be released might be unlikely. Instead you will be given the chance to get hold of a pair that perhaps passed you by when it was originally released. Like most things however, these festivities won’t be around forever so make sure you are close to your phones come August 8th 2019.
