When is the Off-White x Nike Vapor Street releasing?
Originally teased at the Off-White Spring/Summer 2019 Show. The Off-White x Nike Vapor Street looks to follow on from the Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5. Which gets a general release on 29th June. Further expanding Virgil Ablohs new Athlete in Progress collection for Nike. A collection which started life as the Track + Field portion of the Off-White SS19 Show from last year. The Off-White Nike Vapor Street has no official release date as of yet. Sources suggest we will be seeing it sometime soon in Summer 2019.
What does the new model look like?
Similar to the Off-White x Zoom Terra Kiger 5. This new model will arrive in three colourways. A blue & yellow, black & pink and a yellow & black. Overlaying the shoe’s upper is a transparent film that can be seen wrapping around the entirety of the model. This eclectic contemporary runner also features an asymmetric lacing system. Unfinished hems, and exaggerated traction grips on the sole. Metallic swooshes also feature on the medial side alongside the now to be expected signature Off-White motifs.
What else is dropping in the new Off-White x Nike collection?
As I previously eluded to, the new Nike Vapor Street model from Virgil Abloh comes as part of a larger collection from Off-White & Nike. The collection is called Athlete in Progress, and arriving on the 29th July, will be the Off-White Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 in 3 colourways, as well as rumours of an Off-White Nike Waffle Racer which also debuted at the SS19 show. The official release date for this particular model is yet to be confirmed but we are almost certain we will be seeing it in Summer 2019 alongside the rest of the collection, dropping in tandem with an apparel collection, both of which will be a women’s exclusive from Virgil Abloh.
