What’s a little collaboration between friends?
Longtime friends and design aficionados Pharrell Williams and Nigo have teamed up. To collaboration on a very special collection for Adidas Originals. Inspired by the admiration and mutual respect they have for one another. Using a heart motif as a symbol of that. The upcoming Pharrell Nigo collection merges ideas from the Pharrell x Adidas Human Race catalogue. With those from Nigo’s own brand Human Made. The capsule is set to feature Tennis Hu, Solar Hu, and Hu NMD silhouettes. Set to include embroidery that draws from Nigo’s heritage streetwear label.
Tennis Hu
The Pharrell Nigo designed Adidas Originals Tennis Hu appears in this collection done up in white Primeknit. Accompanied by a leather heel panel and the silhouette’s signature diamond-tooled sole. With the star in the show coming in the way of an embroidered Human Made heart logo on the toe box, and red laces to match.
Solar Hu
In contrast, the more technical Solar Hu is constructed from breathable mesh and textured Primeknit. Designed with a Boost midsole and rubber outsole. As well as TPU heel stabilizers and EVA rubber in the forefoot for added support. The second silhouette from the Pharrell Nigo collaborative effort again comes adorned with the Human Made heart logo on the toe box. Largely standing out due to a distinctive lace eyelet panel.
Hu NMD
The Hu NMD is also crafted from Primeknit. Featuring the signature NMD Boost midsole with EVA inserts and a black outsole. The model also incorporates the familiar TPU heel cage. As well as the aforementioned Human Made heart logo. Along with Red laces.
