Much of the limelight in 2021 has been taken by the Air Jordan releases, with Jordan Brand enjoying another stellar few months. However, Nike is set to release a stunning new Air Jordan 1 colourway to remind us there’s more than one sneaker in town.

Ever since its release way back in 1982, the Air Force 1 has been up there as one of the most dominant sneakers in the world. Almost four decades and thousands of colourways later and the long-standing silhouette is still as relevant as ever, with this latest iteration showing Nike’s willingness to switch things up to stay ahead of the game.

Using a slick colour combo made up of white, University Gold and Wolf Grey, this latest NBA collaboration arrives in the form of the Air Force 1 High, and boy is it a beauty! With an upper base that’s constructed entirely from white leather, combined with orange and black panelling to the rear. Black also arrives on the NBA x Nike ankle straps, as well as the tongue tags, insoles and the toe’s mini Swooshes to provide some welcome contrast.

Elsewhere, the larger lateral Swooshes arrive painted in white, with some metal detailing adding a funky twist, while down below the shoe features a white midsole that’s mated to a gum-coloured treading found on many iterations of this time-tested model.

The brand-new Nike Air Force 1 “White/University Gold” colourway is out now and available with select retailers. Any sneakerheads who are desperate to get their hands on this fresh look had better move quickly as it’s bound to be another popular release from the Nike Air team.
