Keeping things simple is a motto that the Yeezy brand appears to live by, and the latest iteration of the Boost 350 V2 silhouette stays true to this ideal. Not one for dazzling colours and bold patterns, Ye and his team seem to enjoy sticking to earthy tones and muted hues in order to offer neutral footwear that can be worn just about anywhere. After all, you’ll have a pretty hard time getting into some places with some of the recent statement sneakers coming from Jordan Brand!

In recent months, colour-changing designs have been extremely popular with sneakerheads and it seems like Yeezy are planning to add this feature to the upcoming “Light” colourway. As expected, the sneaker opts for a Primeknit upper which showcases a neutral white hue that helps to complement the adjacent features remarkably well. With a focus on subtly, the laces are seen in a slightly darker shade that is mimicked by the lining and this is a feature of the Yeezy brand that we’ve come to expect. It’s the heel pull tab and sole where things get interesting, however as these are displayed in an intense shade of yellow. As the name suggests, this colourway is certainly “Light” by design and by execution so it’s no doubt sneakerheads will be looking to cop a pair or two.

Originally planned to drop at the end of the month, it’s now been confirmed that the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Light” colourway will be released on August 28th with adidas.com and other select retailers. As always, the competition is expected to be fierce as Yeezy superfans and sneakerheads battle it out for a chance to add this simple yet effective colourway to their collection.
