We only managed to get a small sneak peek at this upcoming colourway earlier this month, however official images of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “MX Oat” have been released which means that we can finally take a closer and more in depth look at what it’s really got to offer. As ever, the design isn’t exactly going to be every sneakerheads cup of tea, but the uniqueness is definitely a head turner and it’s starting to grow on us. As they say, better late than never!
The design is built on top of a soft yellow Primeknit base that is intercepted with blue, red and yellow accents that take the shape of dazzling swirls, a decision that is sure to turn heads on the street. The multi-coloured frenzy is further accented with a single side stripe across the lateral side panel made from an almost-transparent mesh and the use of simple yet sophisticated laces manage to tie the whole look together nicely.
Ye and his team recognise the convenience of a well-positioned pull tab so the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “MX Oat” has one featured on the heel in the same yellow hue as the base, and you’ll find familiar adidas Boost cushioning technology housed within the midsole for that recognisable comfort we’ve all come to expect from the Yeezy brand.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “MX Oat ” colourway is expected to drop sometime in September which means that sneakerheads looking to cop an Autumn favourite will have to be quick on the mouse-clicker to stand any chance. After all, opinions may be divided but that doesn’t mean that Ye and his team aren’t preparing for a frenzy on release day.
