When is the Yeezy 500 Stone dropping?
The rumour mill surrounding Kanye West’s Yeezy brand has been in overdrive of late. New colourways for West’s most famous silhouettes seems to be appearing on a weekly basis. The latest of these being another fresh colourway for the Yeezy 500 silhouette entitled the Yeezy 500 Stone. The information dropped via long term confidant and authority on the subject Yeezy Mafia. No price detailing has been confirmed, but the Stone colourway is reportedly going to be dropping in a full range of family sizes sometime in October.
What does the new Stone colourway look like?
Centred around the model’s signature monochromatic look the Yeezy 500 Stone is crafted from a mixture of both premium suede and mesh appearing in a beige tone, similar to cobblestone. With the only contrast coming in the form of the alternating darker and lighter variations of the colour achieved by the mixed material composition. This is all accompanied by reflective piping on the panelling of the upper and elevated by the shoe’s full-length adiPRENE midsole paired with a light gum rubber outsole.
What else can we expect from Yeezy in the coming months?
2019 has already been a stacked year for Kanye West and Yeezy. The expansion of both the Yeezy Boost 350 and Yeezy Boost 700 product lines has been a well documented one. With a wide array of new colourways already made available for both. It appears West has turned his attention to the neglected middle child that is the Yeezy Boost 500. Yeezy Mafia has already revealed along with the aforementioned Stone colourway. We are also likely to see a pinkish coloured Soft Vision and a Bone White variation of the silhouette. Some time in the second half of 2019, most likely in the Autumn.
