After things went quiet over at Yeezy for a short while, the intensity has been ramped up in a big way over the past few weeks with a range of new colourways for existing silhouettes – along with some brand-new models that are due to arrive in the not too distant future.
But if you thought that things couldn’t get much busier, then you were dead wrong as arriving alongside some fresh new updates is a classic 350 V2 that was and still is one of the Adidas imprint’s most talked-about releases of all-time and one that still commands some serious cash on the resale market.
That is, of course, the “Bred” and while we’re still not quite sure what the mysterious name actually stands for, what we do know is this iconic colourway was in need of a restock, which is exactly what it’s received at long last.
The restock went on sale at Offspring, much to the surprise of many-a-sneakerhead – us included! The latest re-release comes just a couple months after the last, with Ye and co clearly keen to ride the success of the much-hyped colourway for as long as possible.
Featuring monochromatic all-black uppers with the V2 trademark script on the lateral, coupled with a semi-translucent midsole encasing a full bed of Adidas’ patented Boost foam cushioning, the “Bred” keeps things simple – which is perhaps what made it such a popular release and ensures it remains one of the most hard-to-come-by colourways in the entire Yeezy back catalogue.
Whether or not the numerous re-releases will impact the shoe’s value on the resale market remains to be seen, but anyone who’s desperate for a pair will just be glad there are now more in circulation.
