We had a first look at the YEEZY Boost 350 V2 “Zyon” way back on March 2nd where we discussed it in as much depth as we could. Since then, YEEZY and adidas have been teasing us with release dates, most of which have been pushed further and further back. But now we may finally have a date for release we can rely on.

We understand most of the delays were due to the current COVID-19 lockdown causing distribution problems around the world. The look was first set to drop in June. This was pushed back to a July release date and now finally we have a solid date in July, the 18th, when we can actually get our hands on a pair.

We’ve already been given the full Boost 350 V2 release calendar for the remainder of 2020 so we know we are in for some great upcoming autumnal and winter looks with the “Israfil” and “Asriel” colourways.

Before then; back to the “Zyon”. The look is given some expected, muted earthy tones. This time the look is relying heavily on earthy browns interspersed amongst the off-white Primeknit upper. The upper is broken into clear segments via the blacked out side stripe running the length of the foot.

Where the “Desert Sage” used a vibrant orange sockliner to help create its more eye-popping aesthetic the “Zyon” uses a light grey liner which blends seamlessly with the uppers colour scheme whilst giving it a backdrop for the Primeknit to shine.

Finished with grey laces to knit the upper together and housed atop a clear cream outsole with the iconic ribbed texture we’ve come to expect of the YEEZY Boost 350 V2.

The new look will be available form adidas and other select retailers on July 18th, so set your stall and get your wallets at the ready for the big day.
