Combining neon and toned-down colours, the Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” is a sneaker on its own journey that doesn’t need to steal the limelight from anywhere else. The decision to opt for a grey upper helps contrast the bright cream toned laces nicely and it’s the black and white sole that allows the subtle use of orange on the panels to stand out too. In fact, it’s this unpredictable design that cements the “Wave Runner” as one of Yeezys stand-out models over the years as sneakerheads continue to return for more. As expected, this colourway also features adidas BOOST cushioning technology as well as three reflective strikes underneath the upper, which rounds off the design in an iconic and memorable way.
It’s been over four years since the Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner” first hit the scene and there’s no doubt that sneakerheads have been hoping for another restock for some time now. Luckily, the wait is over! The restock is planned for August, however an official release date hasn’t been confirmed with adidas yet so you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled to stand any chance of coping these beauties the second time around.
